Sometimes mistakes are the best way to stumble on, or be reminded of, a technique. For example, thinking the display on my camera was broken because it wasn't advancing and then realizing it had somehow been set to multiple exposure (I suspect a toddler was behind this). Now I know where that button is and can use it. Yay!
