Documentary-Style Family Photography Services
The photos we create are going to be full of life - your life.
While creating those images together is going to be a ton of fun, it is also a big investment for both of us. Financials aside (there are $ costs for both of us), we'll also be investing a lot of time (a precious commodity these days), energy, and emotion. You open your home and life to a photographer. I burn the midnight oil meticulously working to make your album a work of art. Seriousy, I pour my heart and soul in.
That's why the thought of digital files sitting on hard drives makes me so sad. Although people have good intentions, their lives are also very busy. Files get buried. Lost. Destroyed. Who knows if future generations will see them. They have very little value then. Repeat, so sad!
I want to be sure you have something awesome to hold in your hands and pass on to future generations (this is your legacy we're talking about!). My base service includes an awesome book designed by lil' ol me (advanced warning: it may make you cry), a stack of prints, and full resolution digital files so you do have a backup.
A Glimpse in the Life - Photo Session

ARTISTRY
This session is meant to capture the essence of a day in your life - without taking up an entire day of your life. Please note, ☆the length of session does not determine number of final images. Whatever amount of time that the natural flow of the day brings us will be perfect. On average, sessions are ~1.5 hours.
Up to 3hrs unscripted photography (☆ see note above)
Approximately 12hrs post-production work
DELIVERABLES
Digital album of artistically edited, high resolution digital negatives for backup, printing, and sharing as you please.
Coffee-Table-Style Photo Book
Stack of prints to share (maybe even send in the mail. GASP!) and pin up (~4x5 or 5x5)
Access to professional prints and products and reasonable prices
Personal Use License (freedom to use your digital files to print wherever you please)
Black & White Film - Photo Session
$975
ARTISTRY
Let’s take it back to the old school, to my true love, black and white film photography. This session follows the same format as the digital photo session except that is shot in all B&W film. So, expect perfectly imperfect images and storytelling that only black & white film can do.
Up to 3hrs unscripted photography (☆ see description for A DAY IN THE LIFE photo session.)
Film development and editing.

* Additional fees may apply for travel and large or extended families. The number of images included in the final online album varies. Images included in the book and stack of prints are completely up to the photographer.
